A day in Les Saintes – holiday version 🌴

Relaxing program in Terre-de-Haut: beaches, snorkeling, island tour, and local delicacies.

Stress-free • Ideal for a day

Morning

Start early to enjoy the clear waters and avoid the crowds.

Arriving in the village

Of course, start by picking up your golf cart.

Only the driver needs to go. For the others, relax with a coffee or fresh juice at the port or next to the Town Hall and enjoy the colors of the village.

🐠 Sugar Loaf Beach (snorkeling)

  • Early in the morning, the water is translucent and there are few people. This is one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in Les Saintes: tropical fish, coral, and turtles if you're lucky.
  • Ideal between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. for peace and quiet.

Late morning

🏖️ Head to Pompierre Beach for swimming and sunbathing

  • Large bay protected by a barrier of rocks, perfect for swimming, sunbathing under the coconut trees, and watching the iguanas wandering around.
  • Perfect for a long, leisurely swim.
  • Be careful, at certain times of the year there may be sargassum.

Another option is Fort Napoléon for a bit of history.

  • Your golf cart will take you all the way high, at the foot of the Fort.

Lunch

🍽️ Seaside restaurant in the village

  • There are many restaurants on the main street.
  • Try the grilled lobster or a sea bream.
  • For dessert: the tourment d'amour, an iconic sweet treat from Les Saintes.

Afternoon

🛵 Island Tour

  • Anse Crawen: wild, great for snorkeling if the sea is calm.
  • Grande Anse: no swimming (swell), but superb for a photo shoot.

📸 Panorama Stops

  • Viewpoints over the bay — don't hesitate to stop as many times as you can.
  • Small, secluded beaches for a last dip.

End of the Day

🍹 Ice cream, cocktail, or rum punch in the village

Enjoy a last moment overlooking the bay, then stroll through the narrow streets for a souvenir (a model schooner, typical clothing from Les Saintes).
